The Department of Education, Schools Division Office of Caloocan through the leadership of Dr. Nerissa L. Losaria, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent, formally accepted last Thursday, December 3, 2020, the donation from Rotary International District 3800, Zone-2, led by Senior Assistant Governor Ms. Maria Theresa Fajardo.

In a simple turn over ceremony, the donations specifically 390 sling bags with name tags, coloring books, face mask and shield, 3 wheelchairs, and 2 strollers from Rotary International District 3800-Zone 2 led by Assistant Governor Ms. Maria Theresa Fajardo with Club President Jimmy Que, Elsie Ang and Eric Enriquez, were given to the three schools in Caloocan with Special Education (SPED) Learners namely Caloocan Central Elementary School, Bagong Silang Elementary School and Cecilio Apostol Elementary School in line with the project entitled: “SPED Eskwela Bag Project”. The donations will be distributed to the SPED students from the aforementioned schools through the leadership of their principal Dr. Carmenia C. Abel, Caloocan Central Elementary School represented by Ms. Teresa Fradejas, SPED teacher from Caloocan Central ES, Dr. Nimfa R. Narcise of Bagong Silang Elementary School represented by Ms. Joan Ritual, SPED Teacher from Bagong Silang ES and Mr. Felix Q. Casagan Jr., principal of Cecilio Apostol Elementary School.

Also, present during the turn-over were Dr. Diosdado S. Medina, OIC Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Ms. Aline A. Calayog, Administrative Officer V, Engr. Antonita Pador Administrative Officer IV, Ms. Ruth B. Salom, Senior Education Program Specialist for Social Mobilization and Networking, Mr. Paulus Andrew T. Manalo, Education Program Specialist II for Social Mobilization and Networking and Mr. Leandro Balcon, Administrative Assistant III.
