DIVISION WEBINAR ON UTILIZATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF E-BOOK USING KOTOBEE AUTHOR
In response to the call of the Department of Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones to ensure learning continuity using multiple learning modalities by providing corresponding training for teachers and school leaders, the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) of SDO-Caloocan conducted the “Utilization and Development of e-Book Using Kotobee Author” webinar.
In order to gain more views to the webinar, a teaser and an infographics were uploaded to the CID Facebook (Fb) page. The webinar was viewed via FB Live Streaming on June 10, 2020, and it earned 6.1 K views.
Ms. Lavie Clare A. Tado, teacher from Bagong Barrio Senior HS, Mr. Ryan Romnick B. Sanchez and Mr. Nicolai M. Cajefe, teachers from Bagong Barrio National HS, taught the participants how to navigate and use the Kotobee Author application in designing learning modules while Mr. Michael James Boado, SDO Project Development Officer II talked on “Managing Intellectual Property Rights.” Ms. Lourdes D. Rola, teacher from Caloocan HS, served as moderator, and Mr Jomari Capangpangan, SPED teacher from Bagong Silang HS served as interpreter for hearing-impaired participants.
Dr. Jocelyn M. Alinab, OIC-Chief of CID, gave the closing remarks after Dr. Nerissa L. Losaria, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent delivered an inspirational message and made an announcement that teachers will be provided a tablet thru the initiative of City Mayor, Hon. Oscar G. Malapitan.
