DIVISION CHECKING OF SCHOOL FORMS FOR SY 2019-2020
The Schools Division Office of Caloocan conducted the annual checking of school forms for school year 2019 –2020. The activity was undertaken following the Advisory issued by the Department of Education dated March 17, 2020 which advised all teachers and supervisors to employ alternative ways of checking through conferencing and other online means.
The checking of school forms is pursuant to DepEd Order No. 11, s. 2018 entitled “Guidelines on the Preparation and Checking of School Forms,” a simplified mechanism and procedures prescribed by DepEd to ensure accountability, accuracy and reliability of data, and efficiency.
It could be recalled that Metro Manila was placed under Enhanced Community Quarantine starting on the said date, and face-to-face checking of forms was not allowed. In order to prepare the forms of the learners especially those who are moving – up (Kindergarten and Grade 10) and graduating (Grade 6 and 12) , the division adhered to the advisory and resorted to teleconferencing using various platforms .
The Public School District Supervisors (PSDS) under the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) headed by Dr. Jocelyn M. Aliñab, led the Division Level Checking of School Forms together with the respective School Heads and School Checking Committee in their assigned districts.
