WEBINAR ON THE UTILIZATION OF FACEBOOK/MESSENGER AS A PLATFORM ON DISTANCE LEARNING
In preparation for the opening of classes this school year 2020 – 2021, the Schools Division Office of Caloocan through the Curriculum and Implementation Division (CID) conducted a webinar on the Utilization of Facebook/Messenger as a Platform on Distance Learning, on July 8, 2020, from 9:00 AM -12:00 NN via Facebook Live Streaming, aimed at ensuring the maximum utilization of FB Messenger as a platform in teaching and learning in the new normal.
The webinar commenced with a prayer and was followed by the inspirational message of Dr. Nerissa L. Losaria, CESO VI, Schools Division Superintendent. The proponent of the webinar Danilo S. Duyan, Education Program Supervisor for MAPEH gave the opening remarks.
The speakers of the webinar were MAPEH teachers namely, Mr. Kenneth Dela Cruz, from Camarin High School (HS), who expounded “How to Send Link in FB Messenger” and “The Live Streaming Method,” Mr. Eric H. Ropal, from Bagong Barrio HS, talked on “How to Record Audio Lesson” and “How to Transfer Data in FB Messenger, ” Ms. Jenny C. Mendoza, from Caloocan HS, discussed the “Post Supplementary Resources for Learners” and “Chat Brigade Program,” and Mr. Marvin Kim Celendro, from Caybiga HS, taught the participants on “How to Create Closed Groups in Messenger.” Moreover, Mr. Jeffrey Doguilles , also from Caloocan HS, presented “How to Conduct Recitation Using the FB Messenger.” The last speaker, Mr. Aaron Dy, from Cielito Zamora HS, toured the participants inside the messenger room. Before the webinar concluded, the speakers answered the queries of the participants.
The activity was organized by the MAPEH group led by the Education Program Supervisor, Mr. Danilo S. Duyan, Ms. Jocelyn L. Pancito, Ms. Chelou D. Lasaca, and Mr. Jovanny L. Cornelia, Public School District Supervisors.
Participants received an e-certificate after answering the evaluation and upon completing the webinar output.
